Italiano.ai is designed to help you practise Italian without building a personal profile of you.

What the AI lesson processes

When you use the tutor, the text you submit—and, if you choose speaking practice, your recording—are sent to the AI service solely to create your lesson response, transcription and pronunciation feedback. Italiano.ai does not keep a copy of your conversations or recordings.

Anonymous usage statistics

We collect only aggregated lesson statistics, such as lesson starts, completed lessons, chosen learning goal, selected level, writing or speaking mode, response errors and anonymous daily totals. We do not store your name, email address, conversation content, audio, IP address, browser fingerprint or a persistent user identifier for these statistics.

Why we collect them

These anonymous totals help us understand which learning features are useful, improve reliability and manage the service responsibly.
